His Arizona prison record stated he was married but I did not find a wife. In 1942 his mother was still alive and living in Sacramento, CA. I found her in the city directory.
I am not 100% sure they are his parents. He listed Mexico as his birthplace in the Arizona prison record and if Elise is his mother she is Mexican and her full name Elizabeth Marie Matzer who married Pierre Fort who is also Mexican but his father was born in France. I have no real documents stating Gilbert was born their except his WWII Draft Card Registration.
This Elsie list might of been his wife but on his prison record he listed his mother as Elsie.

Either Folsom Prison got there records messed up or they family had a grave for him or there are two Gilbert Fort's with the same birth and death dates.
