Frank P Creeks was to be executed 19 Jan 1915 it was appealed 22 Aug 1915 and then he was finally Executed 27 Aug 1915.
Along with two other inmates, escaped from their cells in the prison's dungeon and tried to cut their way through the bars to freedom by means of two hacksaws. Creeks shot guard Frank Maher who died 11 days later from his wound. The inmates never made it outside the prison walls and were quickly recaptured.
