Stole a car and went down to the tracks to steal 10,000 cigarettes from a mail car. Admits to two priors of auto theft 1-20 years Ohio State Pen
said he had escaped from there from an earlier stint he did.

13 July Postal worker had his gun stolen from his language Sykes arrested at Union Terminal.

After Cincinnati he his Louisville then St. Louis

16 Feb 1959 Caught again in St. Louis, MO 4 guns stole this time.

11 Nov 1966 Atlanta, GA
16th term ends a 4 year sentence,  4 days later he's in Chicago, IL stealing again. Known as "Stuttering Joe" to other inmates.

In & Out 16th & 17th arrest
25 Nov 1966 Chicago, IL On the 15th he stole from the mail at Chicago's Union Station.

Tampa Resident 
Oct 1971 Breaking & Entering Deputy U.S. Marshal's car.

1974 Death come to him while he is in the Florida State Pen 26 Aug.
