Anna Scot was born 4 Oct 1880 in Helsing, Sweden to O.C.M. Scott and Christina. She had 2 sisters Alma and Augusta. She was married to Richard Woodfine, they married 23 Dec 1914 in Shoshone, ID.
I never found a newspaper article explaining what she set on fire or the circumstances of her crime. The 1920 Census lists her still in the prison. I also didn't find any other records for her or her husband.
Be interesting to know what happened.
Her sister Alma was still living in Sweden at the time of her incarceration and her sister Augusta was married to Oluf Mattson and living in Everson, WA.
Her Husband committed the crime with her

I am thinking it was most likely for insurance money, that usually the main reason for arson, or to cover up a crime.
