I found something really surprising with their daughter Theresa. 

She was married to Homer Lynn McGrew a WWII Vet.

He said she shot herself in the heart. She wanted to go out with her brother Paul who had just returned home from the service and her husband Homer did not want to go and she wouldn't go without him, so she went to the bedroom got the gun walked back into the living room where he was turning off the lights, and said "I hope you are satisfied" then shot herself. She had some sort of surgery a year ago and I am not sure why that would be a factor, but the husband was cleared of all charges from the result of the autopsy. I am in shock. I really think he had something to do with this.

John Ridge died 6 Dec 1964 in McKeesport, PA I found no other criminal records for him.

I made him a tree on Ancestry and found a couple other trees for him but they didn't have his sister's story or his jail record or any mention of a criminal record.
