Barbara Ann Pitcher: Missing

Barbara Ann Pitcher was born in 1910 in Canada to a very wealthy family of, Frank Henry Pitcher (1872-1935) and Harriet Brooks (1876-1933). Henry was a Civil Engineer who graduated from McGill University, as well as his wife Harriet who was a teacher and Nuclear Physicist.

Barbara went missing.

She was 18 years old from a wealthy family and was a student at McGill University, the same school her parents went to.

There was speculation that she was kidnapped and then when her body was found in the river they thought it was suicide. I feel in my gut she was murdered. This missing persons poster lead me to this story. Here are some newspaper clippings of the account.

She tried calling for help, she didn't know where she was. There were people who claimed to of seen her with a man and women. I think she was kidnapped. She was found in the river and the coroner said there was no sign of fowl play upon examination of her body. Well they could of drowned her. I did not find a death certificate but would love to see what it says.
