Julia O Martin: Sentenced For Murdering Her Mother: Other Family Members Missing, Including A husband

Julia O Martin had a mother named Mrs. Sophronia Moore and a half brother James Moore.

James accused his sister of poisoning their mother.

Here are some newspaper accounts of the events.

Her husband Alfred Kearsley was missing during this time and that also became of public interest.

As I kept digging through hours of reading newspaper articles I found Alfred had a sister Mrs. Alice Billings at 222 South 6th St. in Philadelphia, PA. Alfred had been a British Soldier for 17 years and was in the Boer Wars. He received a medal.

Julia had a few other half brothers from another marriage of her mother's to a H. C. Hereford who died under mysterious circumstances in 1891 close to Clinton, MO.

Julia also had a daughter who became missing, Mrs. Alva Brown.

This women is either cursed or she is the family's black widow of sorts. Now I am getting really involved in looking for more information on these family members.

I found an article stating the case was dismissed against her for poisoning her mother. I found no other charges for any of the other missing family members or articles. A mystery awaits, looming out there for discovery. I believe she was guilty of something and I also believe this did not end here. She most likely left Oklahoma and changed her name got married again and continued doing her evil ploys toward others.

I am sure she probably had a huge part in this or her brothers wouldn't of report her to the authorities.

Very interesting women.
