He was in Kentucky State Prison at one time and escaped. He was very intelligent, could read and write very well. He dressed nicely and seemed to be great at escaping.

I only know he had a mother and sister living at the time byt the letter he wrote to the sheriff's office after his escape.

This might be him:
Name: Albert Treadwell
Gender: Male
Birth Date: 6 Aug 1872
Birth Place: Salisbury, Massachusetts, USA
Father: Franklin P Treadwell

Mother: Mary A Kane

There is A Albert B. Treadwell in the 1900 census Kansas State Prison born in Missouri. Not sure it's him since he did escape unless he was captured and there's no article about it.

More research is needed.
