He went to a club called Tia Juans owned by Bill Brennan a boxer. He said something to Brennan's sister and an argument started and Joseph ended it by shooting the man. I think he should of gotten murder for this.

Then joseph and another convict escapes from Sing Sing in 1927.

He was then discovered in 1929 and he was thought to be dead.

I have not found his death information yet but the 1940 Census shows he is still in Sing Sing Prison.

I did not find any other trees for him and the newspaper article is the only photo I found. 

Interesting that he got manslaughter after seeing his criminal records at age 16. I feel he should of gotten murder 2nd degree at the very least and should of gotten Life in prison. (Which of course would have been 20 or more years anyways).

I came about this story purely by accident, I was searching newspaper clippings for another story I was working on.
