Nina Raymond was born September 1878 in Illinois. She was a morphine addicted and was involved in 2 murder cases one directly and one indirectly.
She was a dressmaker living in Wichita, KS in 1899. She was
21 years old.
Here are the newspaper articles about the case against her for taking a bed slt and bashing it against Ed Jone's head.

What I gathered is her father left her there, perhaps because she was doing morphine or he felt disgraced. She mention in the court to the Judge that she plans on going to live with her parents in Stroud, O. T. not sure where this is.
She is staying in a hotel, so how is she paying for this? A few things come to my mind but I don't want to assume anything, I like facts.
I did not find any other information for Nina, did she go live with her folks, did she become drug free, get married, have children? Did her father forgive her?

I found this book I am ordering description below.
An eye-opening book, David T. Courtwright offers an original interpretation of a puzzling chapter in American social and medical history: the dramatic change in the pattern of opiate addiction--from respectable upper-class matrons to lower-class urban males, often with a criminal record. Challenging the prevailing view that the shift resulted from harsh new laws, Courtwright shows that the crucial role was played by the medical rather than the legal profession.

I have feeling this isn't the end of her story and someone will be enlightening us on her life.
