William Edward Hickman was born 1 Feb 1908 in Sebastian County, Arkansas, to William Thomas Hickman (1878-1938) & Margaret Eva Buck (1879-?).

Inmate #45041 San Quentin Prison
Rec: 17 March 1928
Crime: !st Degree Murder, 1st Degree Murder & Kidnapping
Term: 10-life & Death by Execution
Age: 20

He killed a man named C. Ivy Toms, who was a druggiest, his death too a backseat to the 2nd murder and kidnapping William did, of a little 12 year old girl named Marian Parker. She was the daughter of a banker.

He called himself "The Fox"
He kidnapped Marion from Mount Vernon Jr. High School and sent a ransom to her father asking for $1,200 in $20 gold certificates.

He strangled her, cut her throat, sewed her eyes open with wire and disemboweled her, and stuffed towels inside of her because she was bleeding too much. He also sexually assaulted her.

Below are newspaper photo's of Marian Parker that were circulated when she went missing.

Here are some photos of William while he was in San Quentin and heading to trial.

Williams parent's had been estranged for a number of years and they had both took the stand in 2 trials. His mother begged for his life and said her husband basically had abandoned the family when the oldest child was 16 years old. His father said his wife and her parents had mental problems, but he did feel bad for his wife and the pain she was going through knowing her son had done something so evil.

Here are some newspaper articles with photos, I am not going to link very many because there are 100's.

I made him a tree, and there are many other trees with tons of information on his crimes attached along with his photos an mugshot. One is very detailed and the others look as if they just attached that one person's stuff. This just goes to show you that it's okay to add everything to your tree to make it as complete as possible.
