After Herbert gets released from prison he gets married to Charlotte Catherine Hamilton
(1929–1996) 22 June 1940 they have a daughter, Jacqueline Annette Formes 1950–2009. They divorce and he marries again to Evelyn Martinson.
One of the newspaper clippings mentions he was related to a famous Opera Singer Kerl Formes, who was his grandfather. Another article mentioned his mother owning a beauty parlor where Mimita and Herbert met.
He takes many trips all over from Hawaii to Cuba and beyond. I tried googling him to see if I could find any artwork of his but I didn't, I was really bummed. Here is a drawing he did in prison for his wife Mimita.
What a story, and I didn't find any thing for Mimtia after their divorce. Herbert died 27 May 1991 in San Mate, CA. Too bad they didn't make it I think they might have if he hadn't gone to prison.
