The book above has lots of great resources for persons that were incarcerated in the Idaho State Prison.

This other book has great resources for Idaho.

Ida's mother was married 3 times and had total of 11 children including Ida. Idas father was the first husband who died when Ida was about 11 years old.

Ida herself was married twice:
#1 Harry Murphy married 1916 they had a daughter Mary Josephine Murphy

#2 Evert Schantz

The Man who wanted to marry Ida and got her to steal horses was Fred Marshall. She was not interested in him at all.

First here's some newspaper clipping for you about their story.

I found another interesting story James Townsend Bertholf First Wife Leaves Town With His Brother James Wesley Bertholf. The wife was Ida's sister "Etta" Emma Laherty runs off with her stepfather?

Talk about a confusing family tree.

Ida would move to California and die 19 Nov 1938 in Santian, CA.
