People were standing around with signs asking for jobs. There were clothing drives everywhere.
Lots of rioting was going on at the time.
Shanty's went up all over the country.
So why did Edna shoplift?? What did she take?? I haven't a clue, but she got caught in hard times, she must of been a sad lonely lady.
I don't know what happened to Edna and her husband I would think maybe they separated perhaps. Edna died March 1990 in Michigan.
