David Steinhardt: Embezzlement

David Steinhardt was born 4 Feb 1887 in New York City to Morris Steinhardt & Nettie Schwartz.

David was a Lawyer and as you know how lawyers are. Yep he was embezzling his clients money, $500,000 of it, and he disappeared 15 Jan 1929 and the Feds caught up to him in April and he took the coward's way out by drinking cyanide poisoning. He couldn't tell the truth, he wasn't capable, he had lied for so long to so many people he couldn't face the truth therefore he killed himself, better than facing the truth in his eyes.
