Wiley's father William was a Real Estate Agent and very well off, living in Oakland, CA. 

Wiley once had a good job with the railroad until he wrecked a train in 1902.



That same year he almost drowns and gives the rescuers $100 reward. 











1911 he violates his parole by leaving the state and going to Utah to work.






He was discharged from parole on 22 Sep 1913

Now he is using several alias.

I also found an article from 1908 where he was charged with burglary an asked the judge if he could join the Navy, that never happened, I found no military records for him.





Wiley had one sibling a sister who was married numerous times. Vada Frances Rudolph 1884-1961,

Wiley moved to Nevada some time after his last release from prison. He would die 12 Jul 1945 in Minden, NV.
