I found very little about him, but there was also a Hugo Summerfield from Massachusetts who moved to Detroit that was born in Germany..I am wondering if it's him...I found 2 passport photos I am sure it's my Hugo, from 1924 & 1920.

At some point Martha and Stonewall separate. Stonewall was an adventurer who went on expeditions and hunting trips.

Martha was running a rooming house. Louis Johnson was obsessed with her, he snuck into her room as she slept and attacked her with a hatchet, then he cut his artery on his arm to kill himself. Here's some newspaper articles.

Later the same year of 1924 Stonewall falls ill.
Looked like he was improving by Sep.
By November he would blew his brains out.
