Unfortunately I didn't find any family information on her. She was paroled 23 May 1919 and I checked the 1920 census and couldn't find Nevada's, as she would of been on parole for at least a year and should of been living in the state, unless she got permission from the parole board to leave the state.

There is no mention of children, she was 23 and he may have been 22, as I found an obit that might be him.

This lead me to find a census for 1910

John Henry Charles Withers was born in May 1894 in Colorado to Jeremiah M Withers & Mary Jones. Here are few interesting newspaper articles.

His mother tried to get his life insurance after his death. She was living in Butte, MT at the time.

Sad accident
John was the youngest of 4 sisters

Georgia Anna Withers
1882–1958
Hattie Withers
1884–1939
Elizabeth Withers
1890–1974
Martha Withers

1891–1965

His sister Hattie had a thyroid problem and became addicted to drugs.

The dates all add up, but nothing 100% positive.  I did add her mugshot and newspaper clippings to her tree on Ancestry and hopefully someone related will find her so I know what happened to her. I hope she had a wonderful life after and found a good husband. Seems they were volatile towards each other.

I am surprised she was charged at all, she gave a warning shot he was drunk and threatened her, it should of been self-defense, in my opinion. But in that time women didn't have the rights they have today.
