Verna Belle Norton was born 28 Aug 1930 in Belfry, MT., to Tris Iris Norton (1898-1978) & Emily Belle Eckard (1907-1994).
Verna had been in trouble previously, she had been placed in the St. Anthony Reform School for Truancy and fighting with another girl, she got 15 months and was received on 21 May 1945.
She was also married to Berkeley "Buck" Wayne Keller (1921-1987) 24 May 1947 in in Thompson Falls, MT. He would divorce her while she was in prison.
