Ernest was married to Minnie Kristenson the 19 Sep 1936 in California. I found an interesting newspaper article about the pair.

She files for divorce in 1940

Ernest had two sisters

Ada Jeannetta Brown
1916–
Clarabelle Brown

1923–

He died 21 Jan 1971 in Orange County, CA.

I am not sure why he continually got himself into trouble but he sure had an attitude, if you look closes at his mugshots you can tell. After his capture from escaping the road camp for almost a year he has a smirk on his face. Then looking at the other ones you can see the hardness appearing and the last two look like he has given up on himself.

I wonder what he was doing after e was released in his last stint, maybe he was in prison a few more times, Ancestry only has records to 1950. I didn't find any newspaper clippings.

In any case it's sad he choose such a rough road.
