Jerome Francis Mendon: Armed Robbery

Jerome Francis Mendon was born 18 Aug 1895 in Cincinnati, Iowa. To frederick Mendon (1864-1928) & Mary Owens.

Inmate: #12415 Denver JAil
Arrested: 5 Aug 1929
Crime: Armed Robbery
Age: 34

Seems he robbed Mrs. Emma Brind of $8,000 worth the jewelry and hocked it at a pawn shop for $300, after locking her in a closet for 12 hours. He then calls the police to tell them she is in the closet but he can not remember the name of the street, so he shows them.

Then he shows up in the 1930 census still locked up in the Colorado State Prison in Canon City,Fremont,Colorado. But gets home sick and escapes from the road crew, then gets drunk.
