George Wainwright was born about 1853 in Pennsylvania.
I cut the record above in half so you can read it better.
If you notice the first records says he was discharged aa Mar 1902 But if you read the prison record it says he died 7 Jun 1899 and therefore he would of died in prison before his term was up.
I found one newspaper article on his burglary which was not his only crime. One prison record says this was his 10th term.
Sadly I did not find anything else on George.
What kind of life did he live, what was his occupation? Was he ever married or had children? Lots of questions and not enough answers. But I thought his newspaper story was interesting along with the fact that he died in 1899 most likely in prison he would of been 46 years old.
I found this George I doubt it his him but this was the only other one I could find on Find A Grave close in age.

I wish he would just come and sit down next to me so I could write his story. Maybe if I go to Folsom Prison. Hopefully someone somewhere knows something and will let us know.
