Halloween Crime

Who doesn't love Halloween??? All the spooks and goblins and pumpkin carving and hot cider.

Halloween was celebrated everywhere, in Medieval England it was called Souling and they handed out soul cakes like the ones below.

In America it was Trick Or Treat and the children would pick pranking over treats.

This use to be All Souls day and celebrated on November 2nd honoring the dead.

As times changed and the children finally saw the light of getting candy instead of doing tricks. Crime sprang up, people were putting razor blades in apples they were handing out and candy was poisoned. But who knew what was really lurking in the dark shadows.

In Indiana in 1912 there was a murder, Charles McGalliard Jr. killed his sweetheart Alta Hayworth, in a fit of jealousy.
