I didn't find much genealogy information for Ethel, some articles call her Miss and one said she was married...I made Johnnie a tree I added her as a spouse with a marriage note saying they were not married.
Johnnie was married later to a May Ella (???) Maiden name unknown....Johnnie died 17 Nov 1979 in Roxboro, Person, North Carolina, so he returned to his home state at some point in his life. Maybe he decided the life of crime didn't pay off very well and he went straight, or he got smarter had alias names and didn't get caught.
