An interesting fact is Claudius Gregg Meriwether had a daughter who was a movie star and she is still alive....I won't post who she is as I feel living people deserve their privacy but I will say she was Miss California and Miss America before becoming a movie star.
Dorothy's father was a laborer working in a logging camp, and I would bet her parents divorced as I did find a William L. Bozely in Aberdeen, WA in 1942. I found his WWII Draft Card.
He married Katie Bach-Moon in 19 Nov 1945 Multnomah, Oregon.
He also had a wife named Emma in 1920.
Such a sad story for this young married couple to have lost so much due to drug addiction.
