George Silva Fontes was born 18 Jun 1912 in California.
Inmate: #57368 San Quentin Prison

Crime: Burglary 2nd Degree
Age: 23
1930 & 1932 he was in Preston Reform School for Burglary. I did not find any newspaper clippings on his crime.
He married Dorothy Rogers 8 Jan 1937, I found her 1936 Hayward, CA High School Yearbook Photo.
They had a daughter, I believe they divorced as she died as a Jamison.
George died 7 Jan 1992 in Alameda County, CA.
I did not find any criminal records or newspaper articles on criminal activity for any of the other family members. I would bet their parents were struggling. Their father was a laborer he was a hard worker to provide for his family. To have children like this in that time had to be embarrassing, hurtful and leaving one to ask why, what did I do wrong as a parent. I feel for them all, couldn't of been easy, this was also during and at the end of the Depression. But it makes a great family story to tell.
John had an FBI #137210 a family member could file a Freedom of Information Act Form and send it to the FBI to get his records.
