Raymond Earle Birdsell was born 7 Aug 1893 in Frankfort, KS to Frank D Birdsell (1859-1915) & Carrie Ellis (1863-1912).

Notice his discharged date, this is not the date he was let out this is the date they discharged him, which means it took a long time to finish his paperwork as he died in prison 1 Aug 1938. He was 45 years old.

There is another memorial for him with a photo of a stone, the stone was made after his and his father's death, they share the stone. I did send the owner of that memorial a note explaining records show he was buried in the Folsom Cemetery unless sometime later his body was removed from the cemetery and then place with his father's. (I doubt it, cost too much and not sure what the protocol is for Prison Cemeteries once a person is buried there.)

Raymond married Irma Ona Robinson(1897-1992) on 18 Dec 1920 in Texas, they would divorce by 1940. They had a son.
Dale Estine Birdsell 1921–1993.

I found both of their obituaries.




Raymond was the only boy, he had 5 sisters.

Out of all his forgeries I only found one newspaper article. I find that amazing, especially since he never used an alias.
