I didn't find out much about his family. I found his parents in the 1820, 1830 and 1840 census his father in 1860 census then his mom alone in 1870 census age 50 with a few of the children left at home.
I made a tree and connected everything. Maybe after he married he got his life in order. Maybe that was the only trouble he ever got into.
