Sad thing is his brother Elmer also died in Folsom Prison and is buried in the Folsom Prison Cemetery. He died 11 Jun 1936 of natural causes.

Sad that these boys lived a life of crime, but the cause beside their own action could be due to losing their father while they were young. He died the 4 Apr 1903.
Which left his wife with 6 children to care for on her own the youngest one Amos was only about 5 years old and Elmer was 18.
