Henry Garcia was born 9 Jun 1902 in Azusa, CA to Pedro Garcia (1871-????) & Esperanza Ochoa (1877-1922).
The above is his birth record
His trouble started very young, he was admitted into Whitterreco Industrial School for truancy on 17 Dec 1917, when he was 14 years old. According to his record he had been in trouble before this on several occasions and was placed on probation. I found his record for the industrial school.

In one of the newspaper articles Henry asked for a psychiatric evaluation. He believed his criminal activities was caused do to an injury. In his juvenile record it states he had scars on his knees and the back of his head. It has been stated by professionals that is can happen, was this the case with Henry? Well we would have to go back in time and see his medical records. We would also need to know how he received the scars he got, was he abused?
I found a short video on YouTube on this subject.
I checked the history on the George Junior Republic and found this website that has the history. Steve McQueen was here and said it changed his life. He donated all kinds of money and his cars and motorcycles are on display there, I posted a few links below.

I find his juvenile records intriguing and full of information that let us see into his life and give us a deeper look at his activities before he was adult.
