Here is the case in the paper according to the husband

1923 her husband filed for divorce saying she abandoned him

Frank was born Mario Narcissco Boronda 29 Oct 1863 in Monterey, CA to Frank Boronda & Mary.

Frank was first married to Belle Doane she had attempted suicide twice for fear of Frank leaving her and they finally divorced in 1895. After Bertha & Frank divorced, Frank married Josephine Warburton and he died 2 Apr 1940 in Monterey. She must of be the right one as they were together until death do them part. As for Bertha, she was paroled from prison on 20 Dec 1909 and was a chambermaid in a hotel and met her next husband Alexander Patterson, he owned Camp Meekes a rustic vacation spot in northern California. but they would divorce and Bertha would live out her life alone dying 18 Jan 1950 in San Francisco.

I put off writing this story for along time, but came across it again in my notes and thought it was time to tell Bertha's story. I love her hat, but look at that smug look on her face. She looks like the cat that swallowed the canary and is very pleased with herself. I made them a tree on ancestry and added everything to it and I also noticed a few trees that also added her mugshot to them, so those people aren't ashamed to have her in their tree and that tickles me pink.
