Edna Mae McCormick (Might not be her maiden name) was born about 1908 in Colorado. I did not find out much about her. I do not believe they were ever married to each other, I found no records.

Inmate: #16485 Denver Jail

My Criminal Genealogy group helped me with this one, they found the newspaper articles as I couldn't find any on Newspapers.com. So I want to throw out a great big thank you to them for that.

Edna was a mother of 2 small girls, what happened to them while she was in jail? She was only jailed with a sentence of 7 day and fined $10. This tells me she may not have had any other criminal records and because she had 2 small children the court was lenient on her.  As for Marvin, he was clearly a troubled man down a very dangerous path, he knew the criminal system well as why he used alias' and he most likely had a few prison records. Marvin died 8 Jul 1974 in San Francisco, CA  . The strange thing about this is, I was living in California when he was there, and visited San Francisco several times during the 4 years we lived there. I was a child of course 😉.

I found these mugshots online at this link below. They are mugshots that have been kept by California State Archives as sheriff's offices would get these in the mail from other jails and prisons, California is by far the best at keeping their records, it amazes me. 💓
