Anthony shot and killed a fellow soldier while in France, his name was Sgt. A. C. Bradley and was killed 28 Jul 1918 at Camp Du Valdahon, France. Below are some photos i found of the camp including a cemetery located at the camp.

Anthony was Military #1097846 5th trench Mortar Battery Brigade, 5th Division. He departed from NY

On his return he was on this ship as a prisoner and was held first in the Atlanta Federal Prison in Georgia.


Susquehanna 

While Anthony was in prison his father died, Nov of 1923 and he was trying to get some money together to go to the funeral with a guard escort, but it didn't happen, the following telegrams that are in his prison records show what happened.








His father was buried without him.
