I found a 1860 Census record of a J. Delahanty who very well could be a relative of James.

James would die in prison on 21 Jan 1860, it looks like maybe diabetes, but the record is hard to read, it's on his prison record. This man was 5'11 that's a tall Irishman.

I feel bad for him and wish we knew more of his side of all this. One never knows what they will find in their Family tree.
