I believe she was found or returned home as I did find some marriage records and a death record for her unless there was another Dorothy Eileen Blackborow.

I think she died  Aug 1999  in Barnet, Greater London, England

If in fact this is her I would love to know where she had been and if she went back home or just disappeared from her families lives. Such a sad story.
