Glenn Witt (first name maybe Douglas) He was born Dec 1888 in Dallas, TX although some records state Illinois. His parents were Wade Hampton Witt (1822-1913) and Diza Glenn Murphy (1849-1930).

There are some dates that do not make sense as these two were executed on the same day 3 Mar 1916.But the newspaper articles are dated after. 

On 22 Dec 1914 Glenn was unarmed but Charles carried a revolver. They entered a family's residences to rob them and they awake the family. Charles was shot in the leg. During the robbery William Alexander a millionaire was killed. During questioning they threw each other under the bus.

Sad that Charles ends up in this situation and wasn't saved by the governor, he could have been rehabilitated if he had family.
