Her Husband Thomas Henry Emerson Left Illinois went to Florida where he married Pauline M. Neppell 8 Feb 1941.

Thomas died 12 Dec 1974 and is buried in Siloam Cemetery in Vineland, Cumberland, New Jersey. His first wife and children are all linked to him on his Find-A-Grave Memorial 271914327.
My thoughts are that she probably had post-partum, of course they didn't have that term then. Too bad other women close to her didn't see signs that she needed help.
