Albert S Miller was born in Germany about 1883.
Was caught by his landlady counterfeiting coins.
He was a actor along with a lady who was called his sister, but I think she was his wife he came to America by himself in 1909 If I found the right record. Miller isn't an easy name to trace.

He was arrested and convicted age 27 yrs old

Discharged: 30 Oct 1911

These records state he has a wife and boy child. They also say his sister is Mrs. Helen T Miller, I believe her to be his wife.
He was a very good looking gentleman, I tried to find out more about his acting career and that of Helen's but to no avail there is no records. He also states in his prison records he is a nurse.
He may have died in 1963 in Pittsburgh, PA
Below are some photo's I found of things Albert S Miller probably used in his counterfeiting escapade.
Implements used for counterfeiting will also be part of the display. Credit: Museum of London/Metropolitan Police's Crime Museum/PA Wire |
