I didn't find out too much about him. His mother was Delphia Bradley and his father is unknown but they had at 6 children together and there was no name of father on one of their death cert. Delphia remarried to Robert Cash on 23 of Nov 1904 in Bradford, VA, they had 6 children together. I also found Delphia's maiden name and father George listed on marriage records to Robert Cash.

  1. These are really interesting stories that you write about. Life in Leavenworth wouldn't have been much fun. I didn't know anything about the Houston riot and agree, it was a sad day in the U.S.

  2. Thank you for your comment. I as well did not know about the Houston Riot, I found a couple mugshots of these young black men and I noticed they had the same clothes and figured they were military uniforms, that peaked my curiosity and so I looked up the record part on Ancestry and started making them trees and one thing lead to another and I found their clemency records which lead me to the riot.
