I looked for more information on John Gogden and found nothing. I also did not find Estelle's maiden name or anything further on her husband.

Estelle had 2 prior convictions one in Sacramento County Jail as Inmate #11668 Reason unknown, and Inmate #10986 reason also unknown.

Estelle was shot on 22 Jan 1938 in Stockton, California and died 26 Jan 1938 I found no death index record for her so she may have gotten married and her name changed is all I can think of. 

I wonder who she was, in her heart?
