Catherine A Kettle: Assault To Commit Murder

Catherine A Kettle was born about 1826 in Scotland.

She was sentenced to 2 years for Assault to kill, there is no information as to whom or why.

Inmate #1045 San Quentin Prison
Crime: Intent To Commit Murder
Rec: 2 Oct 1857

Her application for a pardon was dated 8 July 1858 and she was discharged 15 July 1858.

I did not find any concrete evidence of her after her release.

I would really love to know what happened to her and what circumstances got her into this situation. She was about 25 years old so Kettle most likely could of been her married name. Hopefully a ancestor looking for her can fill in the gaps of this mystery.
