Moses and a few others killed John Heigle, Moses clubbed him on the head and Robert Davis cut his throat and Mr. Love and George Brown all robbed him. Moses wife took the stand against her husband and divorced him while he was in prison.

Here is a newspaper article about the trial and crime:

In 1902 Gov. Stanley signed papers for his release. He was part Creek Indian and the Governor said that allowed him 160 acres of land upon his release.

There is a huge amount of genealogy for his wife's family all the way to her grandfather's slave holder. Moses I didn't find anything except this. There are no trees for him except the one I made. Some have him as Annie's husband but no other information. The 1910 census shows she is divorced and moved back to Alabama where she was from.
