A  group of soldiers were in a brothel called the Pear Tree and  Arthur Tooley was a customer and was shot. Allen went to jail for it. I feel he was most likely innocent. The place got burned downed and they claim only the black soldiers had guns??? Um not buying that at all.

I never found any genealogy information, or his death date and place either. I would suspect he would go back to Kentucky to his family if any were still alive, the reason being he was stationed in California.

Maybe we find out from a family member.
