Although I didn't find much about his family, I thought I would blog about him because of his crimes, they are unique. Most people probably didn't know this was a crime.
Threatening the president of the United States is a federal felony under United States Code Title 18, Section 871. It consists of knowingly and willfully mailing or otherwise making "any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the president of the United States".
I found this interesting letter a women wrote to the warden of the prison looking for her father who had disappeared for 28 years, she was thinking that Petro was her father.
That was sad, I felt bad for her.
