Victor Fagg: Forgery

Victor Fagg was born Sep 1886 in  Texas or 1895 in Illinois, as those are the two he listed when being arrested. I am inclined to go with the Texas one.

Inmate: #26383 San Francisco Jail

Crime: Vagrancy
Dismissed

In 1917 he wanted in several cities in California.

He had severa; alias:
C. T. Hill
Victor Walker
Victor Turner
West Weaver

My favorite is the West Weaver, reminds me of that old tv show "The Wild Wild West."

He was caught and sentenced to prison in 1917

Inmate: #30721 San Quentin Prison
Rec: 25 June 1917
Crime: Fictitious Checks/Forgery

As C. T. Hill
He was discharged on Parole 25 Oct 1919

Texas Conviction

Inmate: #35391 Huntsville, TX State Prison
Rec: 10 Dec 1913
Crime: Forgery
Paroled: 21 Sep 1915
As C. T. Hill

I came up with a theory as to why he may have picked and used C. T. Hill for his alias. He used that name for most of his crimes. There was a ship named C. T. Hill. He was a sailor at some point in his life although I found no military records, he might have been a part of the crew. The article I found is from 1907.

I didn't find his New Mexico records I think the Inmate # is wrong as searched he is not there, I also tried all his alias.

He had a tattoo on his left forearm initials T.H. might be another clue to who he was.His Texas conviction has his birth as 1892 born in Texas. He may not of known his age and therefore that's why his birth year is not exact, although he listed Illinois as birth place for his San Quentin stretch, everything else he listed Texas. I did not find his death information either. He is just a big mystery.

I figured I would drink some wine and leave it at that.
