Something very interesting I found in a 1902 newspaper article about William Dye and the Primeaux store. William was arrested for robbing it.

I am thinking they were all in on it and William may have been the fall guy.

I do not know when william was released from prison but the 1930 census he is living as a boarder with Perry D Chapman(1857-1927)  and his wife Polly Ann Frazier (1860-1947). The 1930 census she is a widow and he is still living there.

They marry 1933 in Elko, NV. Polly would die in 1947.

William would die 27 July 1955 in Elko, NV from a fall.

William was a miner like his father, before being released from prison, then he was a gas station pump man. Remember those, you would pull up to a gas station they would fill your tank clean your windows check the air in the tires, ya long gone now.

William's sibling's

Wonder how it was walking the streets of Elko and seeing the Primeaux boys? Did they wave at each other or avoid each other? Although Elko was officially incorporated as a city in 1917.
