I tried to find out more about Homer Laughlin and all that came up was a businessman who had building and a china company and was rich and pretty much had his hands in everything including automobiles, but he died in 1913, so it wasn't him.

So why did she pick him? Because he had money or did she know him? This was the only newspaper clipping I found. They spelled her name wrong and they put a Mrs. I don't think she was married if so they didn't use that name. All very strange as to why the newspaper people didn't get accurate information. They probably got it from the courthouse or a ticker tape.

Aurelia died 23 Dec 1994 in Los Angeles, CA.
