As I read through the articles about the phantom burglar and things that were taken and then read the newspaper articles about the items found in her apartment, I believe she was the phantom burglar, but I also believe she was not working on her own.
I found no genealogy information on her but then the newspaper mentioned 2 marriages, so Brown may not be her maiden name.
Her story is very intriguing as this is the day and age of women being Molls and being partners in bank robberies, shopping lifting gangs ect... So if she was on her own she was brazen.
