Mark Hanna Venable was born 1 Sep 1900 in California to David Anderson Venable (1862-1918) & Elizabeth "Ella" Thomas (1870-1935).

Mark had a juvenile records as well, He was in Ione Reform School 10 Oct 1919 for theft.
Mark married Vivian Bertrand (1902-1985) who had been married before and had a son named Earl Louis Russell Jr
(1927–2001).
I found a family photo of them on Ancestry posted by Zezozose8.
Mark had 2 siblings his oldest sibling was Marie Elizabeth Venable 1896-1913, she died when she was 17. I didn't find out why but I found her obituary. She married her first husband in New Orleans, LA in Feb of 1926.
Mark's brother James Ray Venable (1898-1937) was in and out of trouble as well.
He had been in an car accident early in 1937.

Later that year on Oct 29th a Willie Celestine would hit James over the head and kill him, he would die in the Sacramento hospital.
Mark seemed to have stayed out of trouble after his last stay in San Quentin. Mark died 21 Apr 1982 in Las Vegas, NV.

What a gem to have. He was a Hostler in a Livery Stable. They groom the horses and take care of them.
