Seems he went back to Arizona a few time, I didn't find any newspapers for him there but he did die 14 Dec 1903 and a inquest was done.
He died from pulmonary hemorrhage from tuberculosis.
He may have had a wife named Fannie, but I am not sure because there was another Peter Duper during that time.
